Li Xiang defines embodied smart cars: a mix of EV, driver, AI computer, and life assistant

Li Xiang, founder of Li Auto, shared his vision of embodied smart cars at the Livis Day event. He said traditional smart cars are just function-driven, not truly intelligent.

Li believes an embodied smart car should be four things at once: an electric vehicle, a professional driver, an AI computer, and a life assistant. The EV and AI computer form the 'body,' while the driver and assistant represent the 'intelligence.'

Embodiment means mind and body are connected. Embodied AI refers to robots with physical bodies that can sense and interact with the real world, unlike software-only AI like ChatGPT.
