Meizu AI Cube Concept Phone Debuts, Tencent WorkBuddy Opens Platform
At the Tencent WorkBuddy ecosystem launch event, Meizu's AI Cube concept phone was officially unveiled. The device runs on Flyme AIOS, which is built on native AI and deeply integrates with WorkBuddy's cloud-based AI workspace, focusing on AI-assisted office collaboration. Earlier this year, Meizu had introduced the Meizu 22 Next "AI Cube" with a Unisoc T8200 chip and a 4-inch screen, planning a range of AI agent interactions, including use as a "driving robot" in Geely cars.
On the same day, Tencent WorkBuddy announced the official launch of its open platform, bringing in over 100 ecosystem partners and opening up underlying Agent capabilities to smart hardware, industry apps, and developers. This makes it the first AI Agent platform in China to connect hardware, applications, and developers. Nine co-branded smart hardware devices were unveiled, covering more than 20 fields like finance, law, healthcare, and education, including products from Plaud, Rokid, and Insta360, enabling cross-device collaboration from data capture to execution.
