Meta Hosts AI Transformation Week to Encourage Employees to Use AI Tools for Work Efficiency
Meta recently held an intensive "AI Transformation Week" event, featuring hackathons and product demos to push employees to use AI tools more deeply. Many projects were completed using Anthropic's Claude Code, which is widely adopted internally.
This is Meta's latest step to promote company-wide AI adoption. Previously, the company set AI adoption targets for departments and reorganized some teams into AI-native pods. Similar trends exist in U.S. businesses: Google includes AI usage in some performance evaluations, and JPMorgan requires engineers to use AI for efficiency.
A Meta spokesperson said integrating AI into daily work is a priority. CTO Andrew Bosworth leads the internal "AI for Work" project, aiming to help every employee enhance their capabilities via AI tools.
