Meta Launches New AI Image Generator Muse Image for Free

Meta released its new AI image generation model Muse Image on July 7. It's from Meta's Super Intelligence Lab and is their first image model. You can use it for free on Meta AI, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Just describe what you want in plain language, and it creates high-quality images. It can also render clear text for guides or infographics. There's a preset panel for things like fixing old photos, trying new hairstyles, or turning selfies into claymation or 16-bit game heroes.

Muse Image works with Muse Spark for planning layouts and fetching live web info. You can @ Instagram accounts to include public photos, or tap the marker icon to doodle edits. Instagram Stories now has over 30 AI effects.

Free for everyday use, but you'll need a Meta subscription for more. It'll expand to Facebook and Messenger later. Meta also said a video model, Muse Video, is in the works.
