Meta's AI chief says Muse can help users make money, but effort is needed
Meta's chief AI officer Alexandr Wang says the company will keep improving its AI agent Muse. He reminded users that if they want the agent to make money for them, they need to put in some effort too. Many people online simply ask Muse to "make me $10,000".
Meta is focusing on improving Muse's memory. Wang explained that an agent's memory works quite differently from a human's. One month after launch, Muse still tops Apple's free app chart, becoming a hit for the superintelligence lab he leads.
Wang noted that the industry mostly focuses on coding skills, but most people can't code and don't want to. Meta wants everyday users to enjoy the same experience.
On business models, Meta offers different subscription tiers. It hasn't spent much time on ads so far, but may charge small fees when users shop, save or earn money through Muse.
