Meta's AI coding tool Muse Code is now official with new multi-session and workflow features
Meta announced that its AI coding tool Muse Code has left beta and is now officially available, with new features like inter-session messaging, workflows, and a rewind function. The tool handles complex multi-session and multi-agent engineering tasks, and the installation is simple via a terminal command.
Inter-session messaging lets different sessions talk to each other, so if one session's code changes affect another, it can alert and send solutions directly. The workflow feature allows users to deploy sub-agents to work together on complex tasks, with an 'ultra' mode for more frequent automation. The rewind function lets users go back to a safe point by pressing Esc twice.
Meta also launched three subscription plans: Everyday Usage at $5/month for basic features, High Usage at $15/month with 3x usage, and Power Usage at $50/month with 10x usage and early access to new features. These plans cater to different developer needs, aiming to boost AI coding productivity.
