Microsoft Copilot Notebooks Adds Markdown and More Text Formats
Microsoft has updated Copilot Notebooks, its dedicated smart workspace in Microsoft 365 Copilot, adding support for Markdown, plain text, and rich text formats. Users can now directly import text-heavy files like README files, technical docs, system logs, and meeting transcripts. Markdown, a lightweight markup language often used in tech docs and AI agent prompts, is a key addition. Microsoft highlights four use cases: summarizing meeting transcripts, analyzing support tickets, troubleshooting with logs, and quickly getting up to speed on projects by compiling wikis, notes, and release notes.
