Microsoft plans to launch a Copilot super app by late summer, combining multiple AI assistants

Microsoft is working on a Copilot super app to bring together its various AI assistants under one roof. The internal slogan is 'Delivering one Copilot,' aiming to save users from switching between different Copilot tools.

The app will connect GitHub Copilot, Copilot chat, Copilot Cowork, and a new agent feature code-named Autopilot. Jacob Andreou, the new Copilot lead, is in charge of merging consumer and enterprise Copilot into a more unified product.

Microsoft might tease some related features at the Build developer conference in San Francisco next week, but won't show the app itself yet. The company plans to launch the super app before late summer, possibly including a toggle between personal and business Microsoft 365 Copilot. Users can still access the original Copilot outside the super app.
