Microsoft Positions Copilot as a New Work Operating System

Microsoft has released a new Copilot "super app" that brings chat, coding, and AI agents together in one interface, calling it "AI built for work."

CEO Satya Nadella said on X that Microsoft is turning Copilot into a new work operating system that works with all models, all work situations, and all tasks.

Earlier, Microsoft described Windows 11 as an "agent system," which upset many users. The company recently stopped blocking negative keywords, and media say Microsoft now seems to believe Copilot is good enough to earn its own reputation.
