Microsoft Releases Official VS Code Documentary

Microsoft has announced a new documentary called "The Story of VS Code," looking back at the past ten years of this popular coding tool. It will be available on the official VS Code YouTube channel on September 4th.

The film, directed by Stefan Kingham, shares stories from the original team and developers worldwide. It shows how VS Code grew from a small project in Zurich, Switzerland, into a key tool for developers everywhere. The documentary also highlights recent AI-related updates.

Besides showing the product's design and growth, it includes community views on how users shaped VS Code. VS Code 1.0 came out in April 2016, and now it's a must-have for many coders.
