Microsoft's Copilot super app is coming, combining coding and teamwork features

Microsoft is building a super app called Copilot to bring all its AI helpers together. The internal motto is 'Delivering one Copilot,' so users don't have to switch between tools like GitHub Copilot, Copilot chat, and Copilot Cowork.

New leaked screenshots show a code page with the GitHub Copilot logo. It lets you pick a workspace, connect to remote setups, switch models, see all code repos, and schedule tasks with Routines. Another tab is Cowork, which pulls data from different sources and gives prompts, like prepping for the week based on your calendar or researching a company.

There's also a permanent AI agent named Scout inside the Autopilot area. Microsoft is working on a new 'Autopilot' feature to make Copilot even smarter. This move could make GitHub's ecosystem stickier and give developers one place to work.
