MIIT to Launch 'AI + Software' Special Action to Accelerate Intelligent Programming R&D and Application

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) will promote the extension of productive services to specialization and high-end value chains, accelerating the innovative development of software and information technology services. Next, MIIT will launch the 'AI + Software' special action, focusing on accelerating R&D and application of intelligent programming, and fostering new formats such as model-as-a-service and agent-as-a-service.

Additionally, MIIT will strengthen open-source ecosystem construction, promote intelligent upgrading of basic software and industrial software; improve the digital and intelligent transformation service system for manufacturing, cultivate high-quality service providers; advance the innovative development of industrial internet, improve the intelligent computing cloud service system, and implement the industrial data foundation action to build high-quality datasets in industrial fields, injecting new vitality into the high-quality development of the service industry.
