MiniMax Launches MMX-CLI, a Command-Line Tool for AI Agents Supporting Full-Modal Model Automated Workflows

MiniMax recently released MMX-CLI, a command-line tool for AI Agents. This tool allows Agents to natively call MiniMax's full-modal models (including programming, video generation, voice synthesis, and music creation) in environments like Claude Code and OpenClaw—no need for tedious interface adaptations or extra MCP Server coding, enabling independent execution of complete automated workflows from data collection to video production.

Regular CLI tools are designed for humans, leading to issues like noisy output, English-only error prompts, and stuck processes due to missing parameters when used by Agents. MMX-CLI has underlying optimizations for Agents: it takes just two lines of code to install and call, seamlessly integrates with MiniMax Token Plan to display package usage, and is MiniMax's first tool in the Agent infrastructure field.
