MiTAC Computing launches new AI liquid-cooled racks at WAIC 2026, boosting GPU density by 50%

MiTAC Computing, a subsidiary of MiTAC, unveiled several new rack products for AI workloads at WAIC 2026. One 52U high-density AI liquid-cooled rack integrates 12 G4826Z5 liquid-cooled servers with 8 GPUs each, featuring 96 AMD Instinct MI355X accelerators, offering 50% higher GPU density than standard 48U racks.

This rack boosts computing power via vertical scaling while reducing fan and air conditioning energy use, pushing PUE toward green standards. MiTAC also introduced the G8825Z5 GPU air-cooled rack for AI training and inference, which can hold 4 servers with 8 GPUs each, integrating up to 32 MI350X GPUs.

Other products on display include the OCP ORv3 standard liquid-cooled rack, TS70A-B8056 high-density storage rack with DDN solutions, G4520G6 AI PCIe GPU server, C2811Z5 multi-node OCP liquid-cooled server, and R2520G6 enterprise storage server.
