Moore Threads MTT S5000 Adds Full Inference Support for Protenix-v2

Chinese GPU maker Moore Threads announced that its MTT S5000 computing card now fully supports inference for the open-source biomolecular structure prediction model Protenix-v2.

Protenix-v2 was developed by ByteDance's Seed team and released in April 2026. It matches or even beats DeepMind's AlphaFold 3 on several key benchmarks, and is one of the few open-source models that can predict protein, DNA, RNA and small-molecule ligand complexes end-to-end with high accuracy.

With this adaptation, Moore Threads has completed end-to-end engineering validation across three core AI for Science scenarios: macromolecular structure prediction, whole-genome sequence modeling and clinical medical imaging, offering an AI4S computing foundation for Chinese pharmaceutical companies and research institutions.
