MSI Launches XpertStation WS300 Desktop Supercomputer, Enabling 1T-Parameter Open Models on Desktop
For developers working on LLM, GenAI, or advanced data science, running large models on desktop often faces performance limitations. MSI recently launched the XpertStation WS300 desktop supercomputer, designed specifically for these fields' computing needs.
Based on NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Ultra chip, the system has 748GB unified memory and up to 20 petaflops of AI computing performance, enabling 1T-parameter open models to run on desktop. It also features NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNIC (dual-port 400GbE connectivity) and PCIe Gen5/Gen6 storage architecture.
Developers can run and fine-tune advanced models on this system, then seamlessly migrate to NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Ultra rack systems in data centers or the cloud, improving workflow efficiency.
