NetEase and Zhejiang University win national award for 3D digital human tech

The 2025 National Science and Technology Awards ceremony was held on July 8. NetEase, together with Zhejiang University and other units, won the second prize for their project on intelligent 3D digital human creation technology. This is one of China's top three national science awards. NetEase's game "Justice" was a key testing ground for this tech. It now has over 40 million AI characters, and players have created nearly 20 million user-generated videos using the AI filmmaking mode. A new simulation feature generated over 20 million special interactions in just two weeks. The team plans to further blend AI with game development.
