Nvidia opens AI research lab in Singapore, focuses on embodied AI

Nvidia announced last week it's setting up an AI research lab in Singapore, focusing on embodied AI. This tech combines AI with real-world physical systems for use in automated manufacturing and robotics. Singapore's digital minister Josephine Teo said the lab will work on improving AI model training efficiency and cutting infrastructure costs. Nvidia already has research teams in Shanghai and Taipei working on similar areas. CEO Jensen Huang believes AI interacting with the real world is the next frontier, potentially solving long-standing problems in manufacturing and healthcare.
