NVIDIA partners with Japan to build the first national AI infrastructure
NVIDIA announced a partnership with the Japanese government to build the world's first national AI infrastructure. The project includes a 140MW AI factory using Vera Rubin NVL72 racks with 13,750 Vera CPUs and 27,500 Rubin GPUs, supporting T-level model training. This AI factory will power Japan's FRONTia project, developing physical AI models. Noetra's models, along with NVIDIA's open-source models like Nemotron and Cosmos, will be widely available to Japanese developers, speeding up autonomous and physical AI applications.
