NVIDIA releases open-source autonomous driving AI model Alpamayo 2 Super

NVIDIA recently released a new AI model called Alpamayo 2 Super for self-driving cars, and it's now available for commercial use. The model uses the OpenMDW-1.1 license, letting developers and car makers customize it with their own data to handle tricky road situations.

Alpamayo 2 Super is built on NVIDIA Cosmos 3 Super Reasoner and uses reinforcement learning. It ranks first on the LingoQA benchmark, beating Qwen2.5-VL 72B and Gemini 2.5 Pro. Also, Alpamayo 1.5 and 1 offer cheaper options for cloud development and model distillation.
