NVIDIA Teams Up with Six Financial Giants to Build $500B AI Computing Fund
NVIDIA has signed a memorandum of understanding with six top financial institutions—Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR—to create a platform that can mobilize up to $500 billion in third-party funds for AI computing infrastructure. This partnership aims to turn NVIDIA's AI ecosystem into an investable asset class, offering clients large-scale dedicated funding pools.
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, said the company is helping build a new kind of efficient, investable infrastructure: AI factories. He pointed out that in the AI era, computing power equals revenue, and NVIDIA's platform, with its flexibility, interoperability, and continuous CUDA improvements, holds long-term investment value.
The financing platform will help customers access scarce computing resources and build DSX AI factories. Huang explained that NVIDIA acts as a matchmaker between supply and demand, with independent long-term institutional investors, and in some cases, NVIDIA may provide up to 25% of the residual value.
