OpenAI Adds Remote Control to Codex, ChatGPT May Support Cross-Device Takeover

Recently, AndroidAuthority analyzed the ChatGPT Android app and found OpenAI is developing remote control features for Codex—users can start sessions on desktop and connect/recover via mobile ChatGPT. The feature offers full interfaces like device discovery and session recovery, and retains commands such as "/help" and "/status". Previously behind Claude in remote support, Codex will now boost its competitiveness in code assistance after filling this gap.
