OpenAI brings Codex remote control to Windows

OpenAI is expanding Codex remote control to Windows 11 and Windows 10. Users can start Codex tasks on Windows from their iPhone or Android ChatGPT app, just like on a Mac, and check progress anytime.

The update adds a "computer use" feature that lets Codex directly control desktop apps on Windows. It works like automated remote help - seeing the screen, clicking buttons, and typing text to handle repetitive tasks without manual input.
