OpenAI Open-Sources Claude Code Plugin: Call Codex in Claude Code for Code Review or Task Delegation

Romain Huet, OpenAI's Head of Developer Experience, announced on X that OpenAI has open-sourced a Claude Code plugin. Users can call Codex within Claude Code to complete code reviews or delegate tasks via ChatGPT subscription.

The plugin supports commands like /codex:review and /codex:adversarial-review, enabling read-only reviews or background task delegation. It can be installed via the Claude Code plugin market, requiring a ChatGPT subscription (including free), an OpenAI API key, and Node.js 18.18 or higher.
