OpenAI wins key copyright case in India over AI training
OpenAI scored a big legal win in India. A Delhi court ruled that using news content from ANI to train AI doesn't break copyright law. The judge said it's 'fair use' for research, and ANI didn't show ChatGPT copied their stuff. The court also warned that blocking AI now would hurt local AI projects and millions of free ChatGPT users in India.
