OPPO Launches Industry's First On-Device AIGC Light Processing Engine—Optimize Photo Lighting Without Internet
When taking outdoor portraits, complex lighting like backlight or strong light often leads to dark faces or overexposed backgrounds, making parameter adjustments or fill light a hassle. OPPO launched the industry's first on-device AIGC light processing engine at the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference. Based on its self-developed DiT architecture model, it can optimize the lighting of photos in low light or backlight conditions locally on the phone without internet, with effects close to cloud models.
In addition, OPPO showcased on-device AI translation (300 tokens per second, performance comparable to cloud models), the on-device multi-modal Omni model (supports video/voice/text input for real-time environment description), and the phone assistant "Xiaobu Claw"—which uses local data like photos and notes to provide personalized suggestions, with all sensitive functions requiring user authorization and data staying on the device.
