Over 90% of Germans Concerned About AI Being Used for Deepfakes

A recent survey in Germany shows that over 90% of people are concerned about AI being used for deepfakes. The survey was commissioned by German TV channel ARD and conducted by polling firm Dimap between March 30 and 31, covering 1316 adult respondents via phone or online.

Among them, 53% think the risk of AI-generated deepfake content is 'very high', and 38% consider it 'high', reflecting widespread worry among Germans about potential misuse of AI technology.
