PwC's Middle East reports may be mostly AI-written, study says

According to a report by tech media GPTZero, four research reports on the Middle East published by PwC between 2024 and 2026 contain a lot of fake information and false statements. One report, called 'Transformation Governance,' has an 84% chance of being entirely written by AI.

The report promotes a product called 'Citizen Pulse,' claiming it's used by governments in Denmark, Saudi Arabia, the US, and Australia. But the investigation found no actual information about this product.

Reports with high AI scores often have the most fake sources. GPTZero calls this 'Vibe Citing,' meaning citations lack proper titles, URLs, or author info and don't support the points made.
