Rabbit launches OS3 agent operating system
US AI startup Rabbit, once known for its pocket AI device Rabbit R1, went quiet after a controversial hardware launch. Its last official news post before this week was in September 2025. On the 22nd local time, Rabbit announced the release of its agent operating system OS3. The system works with many third-party devices and uses a single chat interface as its main entry point. Users set a goal, and the system automatically coordinates the needed devices, models, and files to finish the rest.
OS3 runs in the cloud and connects to and controls devices through the Rabbit Agent. One account can link up to five devices. It supports multi-device orchestration, a single continuous conversation, general skills, direct computer control, and automatic programming.
Users need to provide their own API access when using OS3. It only accesses local files, only processes context through model providers, and only performs actions started by the user.
