Soul to launch first portable AI device for emotional companionship

Social platform Soul plans to unveil its first portable AI hardware at the 2026 World AI Conference (WAIC). The device focuses on emotional companionship, integrating its self-developed language model SoulX for voice interaction, emotional expression, and digital life features.

A companion app called 'Healing Island - Star Frequency Communication' is already available, letting users customize character names, gender, voice, and relationships. AI generates character profiles and settings. Characters can show expressions like 'waiting', 'talking', 'head pat', 'happy', and have memory for personalized responses.
