Spotify Adds AI Persona Labels to Prioritize Real Artists

Spotify will start adding AI Persona labels from September to help users spot AI-made singers. The platform says it's responding to listener demand, as most users don't accept AI singers that look like real people. AI creators can now mark themselves in Spotify for Artists, and Spotify will also review artist pages and tag suspected AI artists. By default, AI Persona artists won't be recommended. Users can appeal if mislabeled. Spotify will prioritize real artists' music and avoid recommending low-quality AI content.
