Step Terminal launches first AI phone STEPX Neo with native system

Step Terminal has unveiled its first AI agent phone, the STEPX Neo, featuring an interactive back screen and a native agent system called Step AOS. The phone is designed by Step itself, not related to Meizu, with a price expected above 3,500 yuan. It aims to serve their own large models and pave the way for future IPO, positioning as a physical AI terminal.

Initial ecosystem partners include Meituan, WPS, CapCut, Ctrip, AutoNavi, Alipay, Baidu, Didi, JD.com, Weibo, and Baidu Maps. Industry insiders note that entering the phone market requires courage, and consumers should respect the effort behind the product.
