Stepfun launches STEPX brand, unveils first AI agent phone Neo

Stepfun launched its STEPX brand at today's event, introducing its first AI agent phone, the STEPX Neo. The phone features a secondary display and runs on the native Step AOS system, aiming to be a true AI-native device. Chairman Yin Qi said the team decided to enter the hardware market despite advice against it, focusing on AI-native devices. Early partners include Meituan, WPS, Jianying, Ctrip, and others.
