Stepfun open-sources Step 3.7 Flash for AI agent workflows

Stepfun has released and open-sourced Step 3.7 Flash, a new model designed for AI agent production. It's optimized for agent tasks, coding, search, and multimodal workflows.

The model uses a sparse MoE architecture with 196B total parameters and 11B activated parameters. It can generate up to 400 tokens per second, making it suitable for high-frequency, multi-turn agent applications. Step 3.7 Flash understands UI, charts, documents, and images natively, turning visual info into structured results or code.

It also has enhanced web and visual search abilities, allowing it to cross-check evidence from text and images. The model is compatible with popular agent frameworks like Claude Code and KiloCode, making integration easier.
