Tencent connects AI ecosystem: ima knowledge base joins Yuanbao assistant

Tencent announced that its AI assistant Yuanbao now uses the ima knowledge base as a source. When answering questions, Yuanbao pulls from ima to give more accurate and personalized replies. ima covers over 20 industries including finance, law, healthcare, and education, with content used more than 140 million times. Users can click source cards to view full info in ima and add it to their personal knowledge base for follow-up questions.

Tencent also shared new ecosystem features: WorkBuddy with ima handles all document searches, Tencent Docs adds files instantly to the knowledge base, and WeChat Reading auto-summarizes notes for easy Q&A. ima, launched in October 2024 by the QQ Browser team, is an AI-powered smart workspace deeply integrated with WeChat, building a strong reputation in the AI knowledge base market.
