Tencent Hunyuan launches Hy-Memory, a memory plugin for Openclaw
Tencent Hunyuan has officially launched Hy-Memory, a memory plugin for long-term collaborative agents like Openclaw. It acts as a 'second brain' for the agent, using a 6-layer memory framework, System1/System2 dual-system design, and evolution chain technology to solve memory fragmentation and support efficient recall and cognitive growth in long tasks.
On the LongMemEval and PersonaMem benchmarks, Hy-Memory outperforms existing memory frameworks. It reduces memory count by over 70%, increases information density per memory by more than 45%, cuts token usage for long contexts by 35%, and improves memory update speed by 20%. It also writes 8 times faster than Graphiti, with local embedded storage and low memory usage.
Hy-Memory uses evolution chains to keep the logic behind memory changes, preventing old info from being lost or overwritten. For example, a user's fitness plan changes (like from running to HIIT to mixed training) are fully recorded, helping the agent avoid suggesting wrong paths again. This boosts accuracy and user experience in long-term collaboration.
