Tencent Launches Buddy One to Link Its Office Apps with One AI System

At its Global Digital Ecosystem Conference, Tencent officially launched Buddy One, an AI collaboration system for individual users. It links Tencent Docs, Tencent Meeting, Tencent Cloud Drive, and ima, sharing one AI agent base with unified accounts and a single credit pool.

After upgrading WorkBuddy on PC to version 5.9.0 or later and linking accounts, users no longer need repeated authorizations or manual copy-pasting. Just state a request, and WorkBuddy searches linked documents, meetings, and knowledge bases, then returns answers with sources attached. Memory sharing is coming later.

Buddy One credits work across all these apps, with balances syncing in real time. Tencent also rolled out a VIP plan at 700 yuan per month, covering WorkBuddy Flagship, Tencent Meeting Pro, Tencent Docs Super Member Plus, shared AI credits, and 1TB of storage.
