Tencent launches WorkBuddy open platform with over 100 partners

Tencent's WorkBuddy open platform launched today, with over 100 initial partners. It opens up core Agent capabilities to smart hardware, industry apps, and developers. The platform offers a one-stop workspace, letting developers manage skills, experts, and connectors after verification. Both companies and individuals can sign up using Tencent Cloud accounts or ID verification.

At the launch event, nine co-branded smart hardware products were shown, with partners like Plaud, Rokid, Insta360, and iFlytek. Over 30 industry apps are now available, covering finance, law, healthcare, education, and more. Tencent Cloud VP Liu Yi said real productivity depends on connections and scenarios, aiming to make WorkBuddy the operating system for the Agent era.
