Tencent Open-Sources Hy Memory 2.0 Memory Framework for AI Agents

Tencent Hunyuan has launched Hy Memory 2.0, a memory framework for AI agents, open-sourcing three layers: a dedicated model, the memory framework, and a MemHub app. It is already used across Tencent's internal finance, news, and office agent services.

The framework handles chat, work, and code memories, and is the first in the industry to introduce working memory and code memory. In four benchmarks, Hy Memory ranked first against open-source rivals like Mem0 and MemOS, reaching 72.6% chat memory accuracy while cutting token use per question by 39.3%.

The dedicated model Hy-Memory-30A3B has about 3B active parameters, scoring 55.49% on average, above Claude Opus 5's 54.62%. MemHub supports one-click access to 10 AI tools like Cursor and Codex. The code is on GitHub and model weights are on Hugging Face.
