Tencent QQ Robot Integrates OpenClaw, Official 'OpenClaw Setup' Guide Released

Tencent Technology Engineering officially announced that QQ Robot now integrates with OpenClaw, and released the 'OpenClaw Setup' guide. Users can quickly create robots via the QQ Robot Open Platform, customize avatars and nicknames after creation, but need to connect to the OpenClaw runtime environment and install the QQBot plugin for message interaction.

The QQBot plugin supports three installation methods: remote one-click, source code, and npm manual. It provides rich media interaction like images and voice. Note that the plugin only acts as a message channel; features like image understanding and voice transcription depend on configured AI models and internal OpenClaw skills. Additionally, Tencent Light Cloud has become a sponsor of the OpenClaw community, joining other major companies like OpenAI and Baidu to support the project.
