Tencent tests DongLeYa, an AI content community for kids that needs no coding
Tencent is testing DongLeYa, an AI interactive content community for kids and teens. Its website and WeChat mini program are now live, with small-scale tests open to parents and frontline teachers. The core feature is the "Wonder Card," an interactive unit you can drag and play with. Parents or teachers just type what they want in plain words, and built-in AI agents turn it into 3D demos, dynamic courseware, picture books or simple games—no coding needed. Users can also remix works made by others. DongLeYa takes a multi-model approach, with options like DeepSeek, MiniMax, Kimi and GLM. Since each model has different strengths, sending tasks to the right one helps improve quality and stability. Unlike apps that focus on answering questions and grading homework, DongLeYa is all about making content—letting teachers and parents create interactive learning materials, so kids can explore knowledge in a hands-on way.
