Tesla's Optimus 3 Humanoid Robot to Start Production This Summer; Musk Calls It the World's Most Advanced

Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed in an interview at the Abundance Summit that the Optimus 3 (Optimus Generation 3) humanoid robot is expected to start production this summer. He stated that the robot is in the final stage of development, being the world's most advanced humanoid robot, with low initial output but expected to achieve mass production by 2027.

Musk also mentioned that Tesla plans to iterate the Optimus series rapidly, launching a new design every year, with Optimus 4's design to be completed next year. For production, Optimus 3 will first be manufactured at the Fremont factory, and later the Texas Gigafactory will take on larger-scale production, aiming for an annual output of 10 million robots.
