UAE Announces 50% of Government Affairs to Be Driven by Agentic AI in Two Years

UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed recently announced that the country plans to transform 50% of its government departments, services, and operations to be Agentic AI-driven within the next two years. As the first country globally to apply this technology on a large scale, Agentic AI has autonomous perception, reasoning, planning, and execution capabilities, enabling it to complete multi-step tasks independently.

To promote this transformation, the UAE will evaluate the speed of AI implementation by ministers and federal agencies, and provide AI knowledge training to all government employees to accelerate the intelligent upgrade of government affairs.
