Ubtech launches home companion humanoid robot, aims for 80% revenue by 2026
Ubtech CEO Zhou Jian said the company is now focusing on three areas: industrial, commercial, and home robots. Half of their energy goes to industrial and commercial markets, the other half to home companion robots. Industrial robots are already their main revenue source, used by car makers and factories worldwide. This helps them improve hardware and movement technology.
Ubtech just launched the 'UWorld' full-size humanoid robot U1 series. There are male and female versions, 183cm and 168cm tall. They have 88 joints for lifelike movement, connect via Wi-Fi, and run 2-4 hours on one charge. These robots are for home companionship, with an emotional AI model that can learn and remember, plus customizable looks.
Zhou said Chinese robot companies can now deliver thousands of units, unlike overseas projects that often face delays. He believes Ubtech's humanoid robot revenue will exceed 80% of total by 2026. Prices: U1 Ultra male 990,000 yuan, female 880,000 yuan; Pro 169,800 yuan; Lite 119,800 yuan.
