UBTECH's Cruzr Y1 industrial robot shows up, focuses on flexible material handling
UBTECH's Cruzr Y1 wheeled industrial humanoid robot made its debut at an OPPO tech event, showing off its box unstacking and palletizing skills. It aims to solve common factory problems like machines stopping when materials shift slightly, long changeover times, and only doing one simple task. The robot uses Chinese-made chips from Dijia (S100P and S600 series), has 360° wheels and a vertical lift to move through tight spaces. Its arms use integrated harmonic joints with brakes and torque sensors for precision and strength. With a big battery, it can work over 4 hours on a full charge, supports auto-charging and quick battery swaps, so it can run 24/7. UBTECH also opened up the SDK, vision, and motion control interfaces, letting developers build custom solutions for factories.
