Unitree H1 Humanoid Robot Sets Multiple Speed Records at Beijing Half Marathon

The 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon officially started today. Unitree Technology sent its H1 model to participate in the humanoid robot marathon, with many independent teams also competing using self-developed versions based on Unitree products.

The 2023 adjusted version of Unitree H1 achieved an internal test result of over 50 minutes for the half marathon. In the qualifying round, the 2023 revised H1 completed a 1.9km multi-curve course autonomously in 4 minutes and 13 seconds, breaking the human 1500m world record when scaled proportionally.

Previously, Unitree H1 also set a new world record for humanoid robot 100m speed, reaching a peak speed of 10 m/s, close to Usain Bolt's peak speed of 10.44 m/s.
