Unitree Technology: AI-powered Flexible Robot Action Generation Tech Expected to Launch in 6 Months
At the Siemens RXD Conference, Unitree Technology CEO Wang Xingxing discussed the company's robot action optimization efforts. Currently, robots in combat use fixed pre-recorded action combinations, which are mechanical and lack both challenge and visual appeal.
Wang noted that AI-driven flexible robot action generation could launch within six months. By training on hundreds of actions, robots will be able to freely combine movements like punching and dodging, making fights more diverse and visually engaging. This technology is key for robot applications in factories and daily life, greatly boosting their intelligence.
Moreover, Unitree has applied for an IPO on the Shanghai Sci-Tech Innovation Board. It plans to release a general humanoid robot embodied foundation model in three years, which will have four generalization capabilities (scene, instruction, action, task) and enable a closed loop from cloud training to edge execution.
