US court rules Pentagon's blacklisting of Anthropic illegal

A US federal court in California recently ruled that the Pentagon's decision to blacklist AI company Anthropic from its supply chain was illegal. The court said the sanction targeted Anthropic's public criticism, amounting to speech suppression and violating the First Amendment, and lacked a pre-hearing, breaching due process. Anthropic also sued the Defense Department and needs another win to fully clear its name.
