Volcano Engine launches AI video templates with Stephen Chow classics

ByteDance's Volcano Engine launched its Volcano Ark copyright commercialization platform today, partnering with Stephen Chow's Bingo Group. Classic Chow films like 'King of Comedy', 'God of Cookery', and 'CJ7' are the first IPs to join. Volcano Engine got the rights to use these movies for AI video creation and made ready-to-use templates for iconic scenes. These templates are live on Volcano Ark's experience center and Kickart, and also available on partner platforms like LibTV, Kuaizi, and Wondershare. Regular users can upload their own footage to recreate famous movie moments, while businesses can use the IP for branded content. Apps like Douyin, Jimeng, and Jianying will add similar features soon.
