Volcano Engine offers big discounts on AI plans with top models

ByteDance's Volcano Engine launched limited-time discounts for Agent Plan and Coding Plan. These plans now include models like MiniMax M3, DeepSeek V4 series, and GLM-5.1. From now until August 27, 2026, new users or those upgrading or renewing the 40 yuan or 200 yuan plans can get a 75% discount for the first two months. Prices go back to normal from the third month.

Agent Plan is Volcano Engine's first 'agent package,' combining multimodal models and Harness tools. It uses ByteDance's own Doubao-Seed, Seedance, and Seedream models to handle text, code, video, and more. Coding Plan focuses on helping with code generation and support.

The goal is to make AI models more affordable for developers and encourage more multimodal app development. This is a good chance for users to try out cutting-edge models at a lower cost and speed up their projects.
